What We Provide

Our lodge, offers a place of comfort, connection, and calm — a space to rest, reflect, and reconnect with the land, sea, and self.

Surrounded by native bush and coastal views, the lodge offers peaceful rooms, a colourful café, stunning viewing lounge, and a conference space for gatherings and retreats. You’ll also find gardens to wander, terraces to soak up the sun, and spaces to simply pause and breathe.
 
Located on the Thames Coast, between the Coromandel Ranges and the Firth of Thames, Te Āputa Lodge feels both connected and tucked away — close to Miranda Hot Springs and Driving Creek Railway, yet calm enough to feel a world apart.

Our Conference Room offers a calm and welcoming space, framed by beautiful views of the land and sea. Equipped for meetings, workshops, and retreats, it provides a setting that encourages focus, creativity, and connection. Step outside into the surrounding natural spaces to pause, reflect, and recharge between sessions — where productivity meets tranquility.

Weddings, Work & Retreats

Our lovely big conference room is available for workshops, meeting and meals. Seating for up to 35 people. Lots of catering equipment, a fridge, We can arrange catering, whatever the event. Our Conference Room offers a calm and welcoming space, framed by beautiful views of the land and sea. Equipped for meetings, workshops, and retreats, it provides a setting that encourages focus, creativity, and connection. Step outside into the surrounding natural spaces to pause, reflect, and recharge between sessions — where productivity meets tranquility.

Our front lawn has a million dollar view across the Firth of Thames. It's the perfect location for intimate weddings, receptions or special events. Get in touch to discuss your arrangements.

Peace and Quiet

Nature in its finest

With the Coromandel Forest Park behind us and the sea in front, we think you'll feel relaxed as soon as you arrive! We're blessed to hear the bird song, and our much-loved gardens are visited by many native New Zealand birds, such as kereru, tui, and piwakawaka/fantails.

Catering

We offer delicious home-cooked meals and shared cooking facilities. Eat out on the sunny patio or in the private dining room. Catered evening meals are by prior arrangement. You're also welcome to use our kitchen to do your own cooking.

We can help your get the most out of your visit to the Coromandel!Our great local knowledge means we can help you plan day trips to discover the region's many attractions. We can also book your fishing or hiking trip.

Parking

Parking

Te Āputa is a popular stopover location. We've plenty of room to accommodate motor bike tours, cars or even your small boat. The Te Puru boat ramp is across the road so you get get out of the water easily for some great fishing. Parking priority is given to guest staying
